How often are Behaviour Surgeries held?

Every three weeks on Thursday mornings from 8.30–9.30am via Microsoft Teams.

How long is each discussion?

Each young person is allocated approximately 15 minutes.

Who can make a referral?

Secondary schools within the DSPL2 area.

What should schools have completed before referring?

Schools should have implemented and reviewed appropriate universal support and gathered relevant information about the young person's needs.

What happens after the meeting?

Schools receive agreed actions and recommendations to implement. Further signposting or referrals may be suggested where appropriate.
