Secondary Behaviour Surgery

Supporting secondary schools through early, coordinated intervention

The DSPL2 Secondary Behaviour Surgery is a multi-agency consultation for secondary schools to discuss young people with emerging or significant behavioural and SEMH needs who may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Held every three weeks via Microsoft Teams, the surgeries bring together professionals from education and support services to share expertise, identify appropriate interventions, and agree clear actions to help schools meet the needs of young people at the earliest opportunity.
