  • 22 June 2027, 1.30-3.00pm, online

 

To book yourself or for your SENCOs to book themselves onto the appropriate session/s, please follow these instructions. Please note the DSPL fully funded SEND briefings are not being advertised on HFL Hub.

  • Click the link below and complete the form with the attendee’s details.

 You will then be prompted to select your DSPL area and view the available SEND briefing date.

  • Choose the session you wish to attend and submit the form (it does not matter if you can’t remember whether you have signed up, you can sign up multiple times).
  • If you are unable to attend but wish to receive the recording and resources from the session, please sign up and then make a note in the text box to this effect.

The sessions will provide SENCOs with local and national developments for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). SENCOs will have the opportunity to consider implications for their own school or setting. 

It will help delegates to be confident in understanding their current responsibilities and provide practical support in enabling them to fulfil their leadership and management responsibilities.

The session will include a range of short updates related to the local and national context, in-depth exploration of topical issues, and signposting to new helpful resources.

Learning outcomes

Delegates will:

  • gain an awareness of current issues related to SEND
  • have increased confidence and knowledge related to SEND issues
  • receive information about practical tools and resources to implement in school.

 


**On-line SEND Briefings:

1. Book using the above link. 

2. Before the online briefing you will receive a registration link from HfL via email.  Complete details (name, email address, job title, name of school/setting).

3. Once you have registered, you will receive an email/calendar invitation (from HfL) containing a link to access the webinar. This email may take a few minutes to come through. You will need to use that link to access the webinar.
