12-18 May - Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week, 12-18 May 2025 is celebrating the power and importance of community for everyone's emotional wellbeing and mental health. Having strong social connections gives us a sense of purpose and belonging, as well as safety and support through hard times.
Residents of Hertfordshire who are aged 16 or over and registered with a Hertfordshire GP can join togetherall - an emotional wellbeing community. Whether people are dealing with stress related to caring responsibilities, other family challenges, or if they simply need a safe space to talk, togetherall is free for 24/7 digital peer-to-peer support moderated by a mental health practitioner – they also have a parents and care givers community group. Find out more about togetherall.
Events:
- 10-25-year-olds can head over to the Livestream Zone at the Sandbox for snippets from previous livestream events and for details of the next livestream event taking place during Mental Health Awareness Week.
- HPFT's Talking Therapies for ages 16+ are hosting free "Mental Health Awareness" training on 14 May.
