SEND Briefing Dates 2025-26 (fully funded), delivered by HFL*

 

Autumn term 2025:  Wednesday 12/11/25, 13.30-15.30 – Online

Spring Term 2025:  Wednesday 11/03/26, 9.30-11.30am - In person (Oak Suite, Peartree Spring Primary School)

 Summer Term 2026:  Wednesday 17/06/26, 13.30-15.30 Online

The sessions will provide SENCOs with local and national developments for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). SENCOs will have the opportunity to consider implications for their own school or setting. 

It will help delegates to be confident in understanding their current responsibilities and provide practical support in enabling them to fulfil their leadership and management responsibilities.

The session will include a range of short updates related to the local and national context, in-depth exploration of topical issues, and signposting to new helpful resources.

Learning outcomes

Delegates will:

• gain an awareness of current issues related to SEND
• have increased confidence and knowledge related to SEND issues
• receive information about practical tools and resources to implement in school.
